Where a Local Nerd comes to you.

Background-checked Local Nerds based in home cities across the state, driving up to 75 miles out from downtown. A few towns inside that range don't have a Local Nerd driving them yet, and remote help works anywhere. The map is live: when a market opens for house calls, its pin lights up here.

How coverage works

Three ways the map reaches you.

● Live markets

A solid pin means Local Nerds are making house calls there today. Addresses up to 75 miles from that downtown are bookable online where a Local Nerd drives that far, whichever state they land in. A few towns in range aren't reachable yet, and the ZIP check will tell you.

◯ Coming soon

A dashed pin is a market we've mapped and are hiring for. Until its first Local Nerd is ready, some of its towns already get visits driven in from the next market over, and remote help covers the rest. When the pin lights up, just book.

☍ Remote, everywhere

Phone-and-screen-share help works anywhere, in any state: $39 for 30 minutes.

Distance pricing, no travel fees

Hourly rates by distance.

In-person visits are billed by the hour, and the rate goes by how far your address sits from downtown of your market's city: straight-line miles, no separate travel charge, and you know the rate before we start.

RingDistance from downtownRate
InnerDowntown out to 25 miles$110/hr
Middle25 to 50 miles out$130/hr
Outer50 to 75 miles out$145/hr
AnywhereRemote help by phone and screen-share, any state$39/30 min

$39 books an in-person visit; the rest is charged when the work is done and you've confirmed it. Card only, no cash or checks. After the first block, time is billed in 30-minute increments at the same rate. Nerd on Call members get 20% off the labor on extra visits.
