Enid, Kremlin, Waukomis, Hennessey, Fairview, Medford, Cherokee and the wheat country around them. A Local Nerd comes up from Ponca City for house calls, or helps remotely when that's faster.
A 30-minute remote session is $39 and handles most computer, phone, email, password and account problems without anybody driving. In-person visits open here as soon as a Local Nerd is based in Enid. If that could be you, we'd like to hear from you.
Nerd on Call is $14.99/mo and you can join in Enid today: the two remote sessions and the texting work right now. Your included in-person visit starts when we open Enid. One-off remote help is $39 for 30 minutes.
Ask anything you like. We'll explain what we're doing while we do it.
The back bedroom with no signal, the guest network nobody can remember, the router hidden in a closet doing its best. Usually the fix is placement, and your plan is fine.
Slow, cluttered, full of things you didn't install. We'll clean it up, get it current, and set up a backup that runs on its own.
New TV set up, streaming apps sorted out, remotes that work, and one clear explanation of which button does what.
New phone and everything is in the wrong place. We move it all across, sort the photos out, and make it readable again.
We'll slow down or write the steps out for you whenever you ask. Learning it once beats calling somebody every month.
Wireless printers are badly designed, and it isn't your fault. We'll get it printing and scanning and leave it that way.
Half of smart home gear gets installed by whoever sold it and explained to nobody. We make it work together and make sure the alerts reach you.
If something on the screen is trying to scare you into calling a number, that's the scam. We'll clean it up and show you how to recognize it.
Enid has Vance Air Force Base, so it runs on the same rhythm as Lawton: families arriving, setting up a household fast, and moving on a couple of years later. Outside town, Garfield, Major and Alfalfa counties are farm country, and farm households increasingly run on connected equipment, grain contracts and weather data. When the internet at the house is unreliable, the business feels it the same day.
Staying connected to family who moved to the city matters out here: video calls that work, photos that arrive, and a device that doesn't need fixing every other week. We'll come out to the house for it, or do it by phone and screen share.
Our service area is measured in miles from downtown Enid, and the hourly rate steps up the farther we drive. That is 51 towns across Kansas and Oklahoma, covering Garfield, Major, Alfalfa, Grant, Kingfisher and Blaine counties.

Send a NerdYes. A Local Nerd comes up from Ponca City, and a visit in Enid is $110 an hour, shown before you book. Kremlin, Waukomis, Hennessey, Garber and Pond Creek are in that first band too, and Medford, Cherokee, Fairview and Okeene are $130. A few towns on the far northwest edge, Dacoma, Burlington and the Kansas towns past them, are remote for now. Remote help works everywhere in the market.
Yes, in person or remotely. Getting a household online on arrival, and backing everything up before a move, both fit in a remote session, and a house call is there when you'd rather somebody came out.
Remote help is $39 for a 30-minute session, and that's what works in Enid today. When in-person visits open here, they'll be $110 an hour within 25 miles of downtown Enid, $130 in the 25 to 50 mile band and $145 from 50 to 75 miles, and the higher rate is how we pay for the drive. Yes, and please ask. We take our time and we don't assume you already know what a setting is. Tell us you'd like to understand it and we'll teach you as we go.
We fix them. Slow, frozen, locked out, won't connect, won't print: that's the job. The one thing we don't do is open a device up to replace a screen, a battery or a part. If that's what your problem turns out to be, we'll tell you as soon as we know.
What opens a market is a Local Nerd who knows the area, likes people, and is good at explaining things. Set your own availability, keep the majority of every booking, and help your neighbors. See what being the Local Nerd in Enid involves or apply here.
